Snow is not bad so long as a person is doing something.

I don't like it either .......I don't like rainy gloomy weather either , Like we are having here lately , but I don't want to complain too much about that , because I at least I don't have to shovel the rain

Bout 10 inches total here. At least I was off the last 2 days. No fun seeing over belt systems carrying iron ore and coke to the blast furnace when its wet and cold. Driveways are a piece of cake. My joints don't care much for the cold anymore either.

Love snow even more as I get older. We get it in feet when it comes down here in the lake effect zone.
Less and less every year the last 15 years. Just gets warmer every year for the most part. Ice fishing is almost a thing of the past.

I would like to live somewhere with a low of 40F and a high of 75F. I don't have any desire to ever see snow, ice or higher than 80F again.

Snow is my favorite part of winter, but we don't get the snow like we used to
Snow always brings back memories that are priceless

X2 Today was the first we got above 0 for a week, day or night. They are saying -11 tonight and 4 above for a high tomorrow.

Key points about Juneau's climate:
Mild temperatures: Rarely drops below 20 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer.
Limited extreme heat: Seldom reaches above 70 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer months.
Oceanic influence: The nearby Pacific Ocean helps regulate temperatures.

Yeah, the older I get the more I hate it. But I'm not ever moving south. If I ever for some reason HAD to move I would actually move NORTH. Despite more snow and cold. I'll just have to deal with it.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

You forgot to mention that when the SE gets snow, it weighs about 138 pounds per shovel full lol

True
But I’d rather work hard at something that’ll make some cash vs. digging out after a snowstorm.
Very similar to my love for mowing grass lol.
