I suppose maybe they worry that those shacks will become a permanent home for those that buy them. It seems like they could approve their use for a short time frame to help those living in tents. But that would require common sense, and we know how that goes with big govt.

I dont know who they is or why they care how somebody else lives. If your asking permission to use something you dont own it.

We’ve been programmed to accept it instead of terminating it.

by good looking kids Gary is probably meaning not 100lb overweight entitled lil rotten spoiled brats like I see surrounding my kids. I'd much rather my child act like an Amish child than a typical American kid.

the tiny house concept has been around for awhile because of cost,i dont like it seems as cop out for government not wanting to pay for or back morgage for regular homes. build regular houses for our people is what should be done.

Those tiny homes might have ingress/egress window issues, among other things the government will jam them with…

How about an outlet every 10 feet on an exterior wall ?

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

A house's basic function is to keep you dry and warm. How much room does it take to do that? I am pretty much fed up people who want to make decisions for others. It is an outstanding amount of arrogance to tell someone how they should live.

Laws to lock people up for theft assault murder make sense. Beyond that its time to repeal. The whole criminal code should be no bigger than one volume of an encyclopedia. The tax code should not take more than a single page. one book for federal and one for state law is plenty.

I though tiny homes used to called "campers"

Tiny homes are nothing more than glorified sheds, that are hard to move.... never understood the attraction. Generations of plains indians lived in a 20' round teepee.
2 people can live in a converted stock trailer if they had to, so that's just like a tiny house/camper, and can go wherever they want.
A big family can't live in a tiny house anyway.
I've seen the cost of some tiny homes, they ain't cheap....

We’ve gotten way in the weeds on this. The project/donation of time and resources was to provide relief for some folks that lost everything due to weather. The government doesn’t like it so they are stopping it with any number of things on the “books”.

Think about a cop pulling up and threatening you with arrest when you are about to hand a homeless veteran a sandwich.

GCS the log cabins and sod houses your ancestors lived in, with big families, often for many years, were not very big.
