Bad luck BP

Wow that seems pricey for a "loose nut" by a nut on the loose

Good deal on the otter. BTW, otter skins for newborns has been a Chinese and Korean tradition if I'm not mistaken.

I see, our limits are slowly rising...can bag 2 in my county, 1/2 mile away (next county) can get 10.

Under ice beav, don't get too many opportunities for those here. 47#

We only get about 10-15 days of decent ice here, mostly have to make them come to me to get them.

I love open water trapping, but it doesn't happen here until late April or early May

Well I have to agree to disagree guys, I trap mainly ponds here and as long as I know where their main bank dens are they are "easier" to catch for me under ice. When it comes to open water here, there is no limit to where they can go, that's what is so interesting about the different situations that we encounter on this site!

Put up a couple of otters before hitting the river today. Ended up catching one more otter and 7 beaver out of 12 traps. River still real high and hard to set up.
