Late to the post, you won't ever win a championship nitty long as you have that goofy coach. Hope Tx. can win but just don't see it, Oh state has too many weapon's all over. Irish have even less of a chance to beat them than Tx. does.
Oh state will be your national champs this year.
See who buys the next one next season. Maybe they can buy Carson Beck, lol.

Jbyrd your stats include ALL NIL money for all athletes.
In football Texas leads the way.

Texas 22.3 million OSU 20 million.

Hate to argue and at the end of the day it really doesn't matter who spends what, if one team spends 20 mill and another 18 it is what it is. Unfortunately its here to stay and ruin College football along with the transfer portal. If you google it you'll get "guesses" at what teams spent. But consistently for 2024/2025 I've read: 1. Oregon 23 mill 2. Texas 22,272 mill 3. OSU 20,253 4. LSU 20,137 5. Georgia 18,326
For some reason though ALL the focus is on what OSU spent on a handful of new players and retaining their old.
  GO BUCKS!!

Not really but whatever. Use to DEVELOP players, they just want quick money now. A decade from now most of them will wish they hadn't chased money in their younger days. Whole sport is going to go down hill if they don't get something figured out with all this NIL transfer crap.
TX should be able to buy the best team every year!

Jap they all had their paid athletes. It was just hidden under the guise of "boosters".
A car here, a free meal ticket there. Most athletes were getting "perks". When my sister went to Pitt and was in the marching band, we got free tickets to all athletic event the band was at. We went to every home game and a few of the closer away games. Free tickets, hotel rooms, meals. All paid by some boosters.
We were really hoping they got into a bowl game because we would've gotten a free ride to it.

It would be nice if the private schools like ND, SMU, and BYU would have to publish their NIL money like the state owned ones.
