It's always a crap shoot if you'll get a stinky sticky mess or not, go for it.

One of the reasons I went back to logwood/boiling and wax. I can do it anytime without concern.

The more you cut the dip, the colder it can be to dip.
I cut almost double the recommended amount,,,,….

I have never been prepared enough to try it this time of year. I usually do mine in the heat of the summer. Boil and wax traps and make waxed dirt all in the same week.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Tried it once won't do it again...spent way too much time(and Money on electricity) using fans to trying dry the dip.

I have used a fair amount of speed dip. I have never had a problem with it not drying. I mix it thin and dip when it is hot and dry. I would say you are better off to wait until the heat of summer. You could wire the traps together so when it is time to dip they are ready to go. If you get a 55 gallon poly drum and cut it in half and get a foot plus of mixed speed dip in it, you can do a lot of traps pretty fast. I dip 12- 220's 0r 160's in a bunch.

Be better off in the heat of the summer. But in a pinch traps can be baked in an oven.
