Over 4000 religions worldwide… I’m not aware of all the specifics of them all,, but are there any other religions , other than Christianity, prophecies of a coming messiah, was fulfilled, resurrected from the grave…??
This isn’t for an argument,, but are there any other religions that have this??

Not an authority but many ancient religious beliefs and customs have been dusted off and used again over the ages, including versions in current christianity....whether you believe it is up to the individual, but there' nothing new under the sun....

I want to watch jews and mormans shoot it out to determine who the chosen people are.

How do Christians get saved? Saved by who? Saved from what? Don't Christians believe if they are saved they have their ticket to heaven? It seems the same to me.

What even is heaven?
I don’t get it anymore. I quit trying to figger it all out. Faith is one thing but I feel like religion is poison. It ruins spirituality. I’ve seen more people become vehement over it to the point that I don’t want to hear what they have to say.

People can sure get weird over religion. I figure you believe in whatever you want, and I'll believe in whatever I want. Just leave it at that and we'll get along fine.

My understanding is that heaven is eternity with your creator. All good things come from Him. (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) would be the opposite. Eternal separation from your creator. (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) isn’t a punishment, it’s a choice. All the good gifts he allows us to enjoy (saved or not) on earth will be present in heaven and none of it will be in (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman). I read a book recently called “imagine the God of Heaven” by John Burke that was written by a former atheist/agnostic who started studying near death experiences. It gave a lot of insight into people who had some sort of unexplainable event where they witnessed heaven and would give you a good idea of what “it” is.

I agree a lot of bad has come from religion. Most of it probably in the form of good religion performed poorly. Religion killed Jesus after all.

That’s my $.02 anyways. Someone will be along shortly to disagree probably

There's a reason Christianity is still the number one religion on earth. Although I would argue that the important part is understanding Jesus's teachings and how to be saved, not participating in rituals.
Most religion is doing stuff to try and please God. But as rewarding as doing good is, by itself it's not going to get you into heaven.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

4000 religions and they all think they are right and the other 3999 are wrong. Some even condemn you for going to another church. Where you live has a better chance of determining what religion you are then which one has the most believable story. Are they all correct and it doesn't matter which one you choose?

Truthfully, most people's religion is based on where they happened to be born. If you were born in Europe or North America, chances are you're a Christian. If you're born in the middle East, chances are you're a Muslim. If you're born in India, chances are you're a Hindu. Yes, religions proselytize and spread into other regions, but where you're born has a big part in what you likely believe is the "one true religion".

Have you heard about the reports of Muslims in the Middle East coming to Christianity in record numbers due to dreams and visions? Preaching the gospel is illegal there and people are risking their lives based on a dream. Never heard of that happening with other religions

My original question was,, to anyone’s knowledge, is there anything comparable in other religions, to the prophecy, fulfillment and resurrection that Christians have??

I don’t want to go into a spheeil about why I believe in the Bible,,,
I’m just curious if there are other beliefs that are similar in other religions

Yes I believe so. But can’t remember which ones. But a few have a similar occurrence of the role of our lord and savior.
