Like many things, when I find something I like I tend to buy them in bulk. Like you, I like the long ones with the big head. I found some at a convention years ago and bought 10 boxes. I will never have to worry about running out again. Skeptical of that statement, Rob. I find that the more chit you have the more likely you are to misplace it!!

No such thing as a good aluminum pin anymore. Unless you still have some from the 80s! My thoughts exactly. The new "good" chinese ones look like an upside down question mark or lightning bolt after a few uses if the tip doesnt break off first. We cant even make a good push pin anymore its sad.

Moore push pins have been made in the USA since 1904 ..Never had many problems with them, but only use basswood fur forms.
Purchased my latest ones in 2017, but still have some from the 70's as well.

Thanks for all the advice folks, especially about the Moore, made-in-America brand. After much searching I finally found a place that had some of the old stock left and ordered four boxes of 100.
If they are the ones I think they are I'll probably order another four boxes. I should be set for a long while then.
Eh...wot?
