Just curious, has any seen or used the FB Alpha #2s or #3s. I just saw them recently, and they're an obvious clone of the MB Alphas; but I also went to MTP's website and they're no longer selling the MB Alphas. Anybody know what's up? Did FB buy the design or something?

I have a half dozen of the original MB. 3 are unused and still have factory oil on them. I'm saving those since Alphas with the MB stamp are limited.

If traps work like the Antis say......I would have no fingers.

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure I was told they would hold deer.

I chose alpha because the spots I trap are places that are leased for deer hunting and they don’t want to have issues with deer getting stuck in traps.

I got rid of ever other #2 and #3 size land trap and now only run the Alpha #3's. In my opinion, they are incredible, I've always prefered dogless traps- and these are a home run.

Buy a dozen of each try em out and let your experience and results show you which trap you’ll prefer more of you won’t have a problem selling off either of which you decide you don’t want to use.

I have used both the MTP and FB #3 Alphas and the K-9 juniors 4 coils. I did put 1 1/2 size 4 coil springs on the Alphas to speed them up. So far I think the juniors are better. The levers on the Alphas need to be beefed up.
