Got the Bucks! Most complete team in college football! There's a reason Vegas put the line at 9- 1/2 and Texas was only 5- 1/2

But yes Oh state is like Mi. was, 5 and 6 year senior's. Why i said at the start of season they should win the national championship. Somehow they still ended up nearly goofing it up by losing to beat down Mi.

Unless LSU or Ol Miss put something together next year i don't see a SEC team going anywhere. Alabama is now lost in the tall grass for the next decade and Ga. is going down the same trail.

Let's check, "those lower teams that everybody beats up on." You'er talking about Vanderbilt right. laugh Then beat down Michigan, who beat down Bama for the second time in a row. Like Hater said you better quit eating those crayons. laugh

The ones who say ,"its the end of college ball" are mostly SEC fans who can't understand other teams out spending them like they have done for decades.

Its not close the end of college ball, its just now evening the spending and the powerhouse team fans don't seem to like competition .

Let me know how it works out in 10 years, all of these 'play off' games in the middle of the week, etc, between teams that don't or haven't wont won a conference championship game are not exactly getting record ratings! Money for all this CRAP will eventually dry up then it will be basically just glorified high school football.

I don't see Notre Dame winning anything else. But they got a cup cake schedule again next year so they can make it back in automatically again.

Tv money not what's building these teams. The universities get that. Money the players are getting is from private and company donors. Tax write off.

I don't like all the power with winning a conference. With how big the Big10 and SEC are now some teams, because of scheduling, may not even play the top 3-4 teams in their
conference, so they get a pass to their conference championship while another team may have had to play the top 2-4 teams and actually beat the team playing in it. Then if you
have a strong conference one year that the 3-4 best teams are better than the champion from the ACC, Mountain West, etc. they get the lower seed. Is there any doubt that OSU
would have won the Mountain West or ACC this year. Just my 2 cents.

Yep Jtrapper that cupcake schedule includes Texas A & M, Arkansas, Boise State, Miami and. USC. Maybe I should mention Navy too, after all they beat Oklahoma. They also play Pitt, Boston College and Syracuse those teams might not be at a championship level, but they are usually pretty competitive.

You can't talk sense into some people unfortunately. I don't like the ND doesn't play a conference schedule, however, their schedule isn't lackluster in talent by any means.

That traveled coast to coast, Northern border to southern border.

How many SEC teams do that? Bring them boys up north to play a championship game once, lol.

NOW WAIT Nittany . Why are those SEC team considered "tough" if ND plays them? But the same ones were on TEXAS's schedule but some say TEXAS had an easy road. Which is it. Asking for a friend. Texas thumped Florida as well.

The only cupcakes I see are Texas A & M and Arkansas.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I never said Texas had an easy schedule, I pointed out that Texas and Penn State had an easier path in the playoffs than Georgia and Oregon and that was proven correct.
