I drive a big rig and yes on open roads I use cruise I usually get 2or more mpg doing that if I’m on 2 lane roads I’ll use it some just because I have more horsepower climbing hills our trucks are also set at 65mph on foot feed and 72 on cruise so that’s a no brained too

Depending on traffic. But yeah, 10 over the speed limit, and let her roll. Going with the flow of traffic of course.

My Tundra has Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. When set it maintains a distance I choose behind vehicles ahead of me, I love this feature and use it often

With standard cruise control on my other vehicles I am always annoyed at having to bump it up or down to maintain a safe distance and steady cruise.

But I use them too.

Eh...wot?

I use cruise control whenever the traffic conditions are adequate for it. I even use cruise control in 35mph zones. I go 7 over in a 35mph zone and 9 over in a 70mph zone.

I'm just the opposite and dislike that feature. I can't get used to the truck slowing down on it's own when I approach another car. It is kinda cool how you can set the range, but I eventually just shut it off completely.

I almost never do, 1- because I forget about it, and 2- the traffic here is too stop and go.... wide open road, sure....

as long as the road is dry and no ice/snow

and the traffic is not heavy

most of the time when I run I43 to Milwaukee I can get almost to where the speed drops to 55 right before the 894 turn off if I get a nice early start but if I get a late start I am only to about Mukwonago before there is to many people to maintain a speed.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
