My dad did and made good money until the market gradually dried up. It's not always about catching fish. That's what people who don't catch fish usually say.

MJM trapper M Joined: Dec 2006 ND	My Dad and his brother dogged mink when they were in their late teens and early 20's. He said if they worked they could make a dollar a day. A good male mink could bring $30. He said they would get one most days. He says there was no one working making the money they did. He talks about chopping frozen ground with a ax to dig them up. Gas was rationed Men worked from daylight until dark for a dollar and a good mink was $30 A month's wages! Life ain't supposed to be easy.
