let the water drip in your faucets. seen gobs of houses down there with open air under them
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Coldest temp on my truck this morning was -28. Need more snow which won't happen with those kind of temps.
If removing guns saves just one life it's worth it. Then if deporting illegals saves one life is that worth it?

Yea! I been watching the weather up there! Negative numbers is tuff!!! I hope y’all all come out good!!! Thanks. The difficult thing is that we don't have snow to protect the ground. Hay and other Perennial crops will die and pipes are freezing. Take Danny's advice and drip faucets, drive slow, brake early. Don't be getting the cabin fever either.

What got me a little worried, is it’s going to get around 10 degrees tonight and single digits with the wind chill.

You should be okay at 10 degree just dripping faucets. Every night just before bed we run a load of laundry or run the dishwasher just to keep water moving longer. If you get up to wiz at night flush the toilet to move a bit of water. Laundry is especially nice because you can throw cloths in the dryer in the morning to help warm up the house.Thank you! Great advice!!!

We have about that much and it hasn't been much above 10 degrees and ain't suppose to be until thursday.
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

don't look at us , too cold to snow here , got nothing for snow , brown and wind swept is all
you have all that moisture and a little cold , it should be gone by the end of the week

they say we might have snow later in the week when it warms up enough to snow

layers and keep your house warmer I bumped the heat up to 68 last night because the morning recovery stinks when you let it get cold

also open your cabinets under the sinks leave the doors open and run water every 15-20 minutes while you are home.

the good news is the snow is a great insulator to keep the pipes from freezing outside as they cross the lawn

save a bunch of that water in whatever containers you have for when the power goes out.

have fun

layers are good , time to try on Boco's poverty snow suit ,2 layers fleece pajamas with sweat pants and shirt over and track pants/suit over that

try the cotton jersy gloves inside your leather work gloves

No yoga pants on Boco's list? He is Canadian A? this was all common stuff at the Walmart near the Rez as I understand it , think he hangs with mostly Cree. so it was a how do you use stuff you might already have with some other cheap stuff from the store. good cold weather cloths not being cheap. for the top sweaters from the thrift store get good loft for insulation put a wind resistant shell over the top
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
