Pirate ship !!!!!! Most shipping costs are by the pound. BUT now it is also cubic inches. For example if you ship an item in an 8x8x8 box for $10 if it would have fit in a 8x8x2 box it would probably be $7.50. Smallest possible pack it tight.

Back when I sold traps, I always used FR boxes. Get creative with "nesting" them together too. You will be surprised at how many you can get in a box. Once you have them in the box, really shake the box and often the traps will "settle" in the box and you can fit a couple more. Also, tape is your friend, lots and lots of GOOD packing tape.
I have nothing clever to put here.

If whoever you are selling to is in the speedee delivery area like you, it'l be cheapest through them, but they do charge pick up fees, still often cheaper, but its up to you to decide if its worth it to save a couple or 5 bucks. What I do is figure shipping in the smallest flat rate box that they will fit in and charge the buyer that amount plus the cost of the traps, because then I know what it'll cost. If you were shipping several boxes/week then finding a different outfit to ship could certainly be worth it. I used SpeeDee a lot when I shipped skinning machines.

Lots of tape! I put enough that they could be kicked down 3 flights of stairs, then just a few more wraps.

FR boxes used to be the answer - not always any more.
That's what I meant. I need to look into Pirate Ship more. It sounds like a good idea if you ship stuff.

I’m not sure even vacuum packing can fit 3 coyote pelts in one of those boxes, if they were dressed, more likely. Just my opinion. You need to stomp harder Nancy. I've always packed more in them boxes than you thought could be done remember? It don't matter if the box is puffed up like a balloon, if it fits, it ships. Use a ton of tape! lol Yea, if it fits without the box being distorted. Their rules, not mine. Those Flat Rate boxes never helped me one bit, they are engineered to not fit much LOL. and a bit expensive to boot. I will bet however he ships will be cheaper than Flat rate.
