I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Had a friend come up from Oklahoma a few years ago and took him out ice fishing. Drive out to the house and said "OK, lets fish!" He didn't realize that we were on the lake and thought we were in a large field to pick up the house to take to the lake. Took me a good half hour to get him out of the truck. It was very cold that day and the ice was cracking so he was extremely nervous as it was. About the time he settled down the ice boomed and a crack ran through the holes under the house. Was amazed the door to the fish house didn't fly off the hinge when he left the house to jump back in the truck. That was it for his adventures on the lake that day. Still can't figure out why he felt safer in the truck than in the shanty....

We just drill a hole on each side of the truck....get back in the truck...lower

The window....and grab the jig pole...and send down a buck tail with a piece

Of cut suckah on it....trun the heat up ...and jig.

But....there is a 2 beer limit if we get no action.

When the second beer is done....we move to anothah spot...repeat.

My wife hates the noise the ice makes. We sat on 8 inches of noisy ice today and she groaned every time it talked to us. She loves to icefish though...so she puts up with it.

that is when you freak them out and say.
just so you know if you don't get out fast enough remember save your last breath you need the cab to fill fully with water before the pressure evens out and you can open the door.
windows are always an option if you can get it open right away.

This is officially the most awesome ice fishing video I’ve seen in my life, except for one where it’s telling a guy from Florida! Hahahahaha!

I cannot get my wife in the boat hardly at all. She never learned to swim and is terribly afraid of drowning. Irrational as it is, life jacket and all, she just doesn't like it at all.

Tie a rope around the heaviest person and send them first. The rope is a safety. You might need them again. Guy at the bait shop used to tell me that . Oh and he always would throw in a big minnow last. He’d say one for shore lunch. Miss that guy.

My grandfather was from Greece. He had never seen such a thing as a frozen lake. He was shocked once when he saw a truck drive on it. He lived to be 102 and in all that time he would never venture out on ice.

More and more when I go anywhere I find myself keeping track of where the nearest rest room is.
