I love it when the AR folks come out on fringe stuff. It helps regular folks who may be undecided on hunting/trapping see that the anti's are infested with radical ideas about the world we all live in.

How many years ago is it now since that was on the spring hearings? I was in Juneau for the hearings and never saw that many people show up as that night. Unbelievable how everyone acted as though there would be a hunter stepping out from every tree/garage/telephone post..... all with the desire to shoot cats. Still dumbfounded to see that much stupidity in one place, let alone every hosted spring hearing site across the state.

I got pretty schooled on dealing with media and watching my back. Got say can be little unnerving when you stop at red light. Have to wonder who is in the car along side you. Most of it was just lots hot air from people without a clue.

And they are still buying it,,, even though I tell them where to find the results of the study done by the university of Illinois that disproves the whole possums eating ticks boloney,,

They are also running with the mindset that possums don’t carry any diseases because of their lower body temperature,,,
While it’s rare that they can carry rabies,,,we know that they carry tons of other stuff especially EPM.
Does anyone know of any equestrian groups who might support trapping because of EPM that possums carry and are a threat to horses???

Equestrian groups are mostly disney watching bored semi and wealthy city females. Cowboys generally dont have a problem with trapping.
