Trying to get an idea of size. Approximate volume?? The bigger octo here will overflow a 5 gallon bucket Post some pictures if you have any. Love seeing sea life, worst part about MN is that it's about as far from saltwater as one can get

I didn't realize octopi lived in Alaska waters. OH YES! I thought I had the new world record halibut on a line , but it was a very large octopus hanging onto something that was on the bottom. The deck crew grabbed him to chop up for Halibut bait faster than I could say Sashimi! They are pretty tasty!! The Captain said that was the biggest one he had seen in 24 years of fishing around Seward, he guessed it at 75+ lbs. Google states that the Pacific octopus can reach 110 lbs.
