canada is not bending you can threaten all you want you get lots of lumber ,oil and hydro from canada we can tariff the heck out of it as well china is already trying to buy all our oil and has been trying for a few years its the rest of the world you have to convince that it should be called the gulf of america over the gulf of mexico probably most people in the states wouldnt be able to find it on a map if asked

Gulf of America makes more since to begin with. We have North America, Central America ,& South America .

It's not North Mexico, Central Mexico, and South Mexico. The US has the same amount of cost in the gulf as well.

The US has all the oil and lumber it needs. The democrats just prohibited it's harvest. President Trump is allowing the harvest of our resources. Canada has some better crude, but doesn't have the refineries to process it because of it's draconian environmental laws. Even ultra liberal trudeau readily admitted US tariffs would destroy Canada's economy. It's not going to come to that. President Trump is going to get Canada to enter a mutually beneficial relationship with the US. I believe that within 10 years we will be 1 very large, very wealthy, very powerful nation.

Watch the recent interviews with Pierre Poilievre. He seems to completely believe that the US and Canada will become closer. Together we will be an amazing country.

I cheer for the renaming of the Gulf! It seemed that we controlled and patrolled the Gulf. Our Coast Guard was always patrolling in airplanes and boats.

We had a beautiful house right on the Gulf of America - on one of the Florida islands. Porch to salt water was about 300 feet. It was a great place to go in January and February. We kept there a car, a big boat, and an airplane. Maintenance, property taxes, and insurance became prohibitively expensive so we sold out about 8 years ago. Unfortunately, we learned that among others it was destroyed in the recent hurricanes,

The US can’t refine most of the oil it’s pumping already. That’s why you buy our oil instead because it’s a better quality heavy crude. You can say all you want that the US doesn’t need anything from other countries but that doesn’t jive with trumps efforts to take over other resource rich nations.
