Upstate. I appreciate the humour and find it in good fun. But seriously, at least the Girl Scout thing is actually acknowledging that you do indeed not have everything you need. Some statements are actually myths, that is one of them. There are many things that every country cannot produce enough of on their own no matter how badly they desire.I know that.Trump is just leveling the playing field.Biden didnt care if our citizens got screwed by other countries,,as long as him and his druggie son got paychecks from them.Trump dont roll like that,,and really does put America first. Now send down some more Canadian Club.

We could get potash from a number of sources, Israel for one who has twice the reserves that Canada has. While it would be more expensive we don't NEED our northern neighbors for anything. Delete this before others read it. LOL Where do you even come up woth the notion that Israel has twice our reserves. Please for your educational sake, do some basic research. LOL Canada has 33% of the world's reserves. The next highest is sanctioned Belarus, then Russia, then China, then you guys with about 1/7 of what we have. Israel, maybe in the group called "rest of world" that makes up a whopping 15% of world's reserves. What's it matter though where you get it when you're tacking on a big tariff, the farmers will all pay dearly. It's comical that you think you need nothing from anyone, it really is. It would be like me saying we don't need your military support. For real, that's how ridiculous the idea is. haha I have edited due to research, for you. World production in thousands of tons per year. Canada 221,875 Israel 3626. That's some weird twice as much math. In Canada twice as much means 200% more not 1.5 % as much. Gosh I hope you're not the friendly farmer I had a good b.s session with at a gas station in some little town north of Sturgis last July for I have nothing but fond memories of that guy.

Rig counts are down again across the states
Oil companies haven’t suddenly started increasing drilling and it doesn’t seem like they have any plans to increase,,,,

 Yes I know it’s only week 1,,,,,

 If tariffs are suddenly implemented???

 It’s going too hurt everyone!!

 A lot of talk,,,,,so far
If Trump can blackmail Opec into increasing production driving price of oil down, my guess is U.S. drilling will slow down to a crawl. "Meanwhile, the president’s special envoy to Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, said Friday that OPEC+ cutting oil prices to $45 per barrel could push Russia to end the war. “Russia is gaining billions of dollars of money from oil sales,” Kellogg said in a Fox News interview. “What if you drop that to $45 a barrel, which is basically a baseline break-even point?” Won't be good for Alberta either.

PF, it is actually funny that you think this way. Don’t let facts get in the way , just assume you have enough potash instead of actually looking into how desperate you are for it.
I’m sure in four years you’ll be a net exporter instead of importing about 90%. Lol
We import about 80% of the Potash that we use. Most of that comes from you.I think Saskatchewan has one of the largest Potash deposits in the world. That being said,,,we could just send a Girl Scout Troop up to slap yous around and take it from ya. You tuck tail and run from stone age camel humpers and leave billions of your stuff behind you were so scared. That really says big bad wolf-NOT,lol. A bunch of winos from saskatoon would mop the floor with your ilk, lol.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Reserves are different than production, Canada has 1,1 billion metric tons Israel has 2 billion metric tons. No, Israel and Jorden get potash from the Dead sea, which itself has nearly 2 billion tons of potassium chloride. That is a far far far far cry from Israel has 2 billion metric tons. It's astounding that you are so obtuse on this one. LOL And I'm pretty sure it is production that actually gets potash to Viterra or Cargill and into a truck and onto a farmer's field more so that the reserve of the dead sea. | | |

Boco your quick to point out, and rightfully so, that Canada and the U.S. have fought together in every conflict since 1917. So then the camel humpers whipped you too? I say the camel humpers whipped our politicians who would not let the military level the countries they were sent to.

Back to the subject at hand - renaming the gulf seems pathetic. Like are we that insecure? Are going to rename New Mexico as well? The truth is that we live in a global economy. Lots of other folks “need us and our resources and we need lots of other folks. The fact that we are a net importer of everything except wheat, oil, and popular culture makes me think we might need them a little more than they need us.. I’m not suggesting we shouldn’t stand up for American interests and citizens, but having a little class wouldn’t hurt. Just the opposite......

Trump is a native of NYC. Why would we not expect him to go off the rails once in awhile? I dont mind. He is taking care of the important stuff.
