Isn’t that a break for people who make less money? They pay less total dollars than someone who makes more money. Why should the person who makes more have to pay more? Do they receive more benefit of what the tax money is used for?
Should be a flat dollar amount per person, if any.

We should go back to not having an income tax at all. Let the government survive off the money they steal from all the other taxes. And if they can’t, then they shouldn’t be doing whatever they are trying to do.


I applaud anyone who finds a way to stop the government from stealing their money.

Well that could be a good investment!! Will take a lot more money in bombs and bullets than what condoms cost to eliminate future problems.

Then again think about all $ our military industrial complex would miss out on. Lockheed, Rtx,& others in my portfolio will miss out on sales. we better not only cut off the condoms but kill off all the goats as well.

They are Muslim. The condoms are so the males dont give each other AIDS. Aids is treatable but expensive. The U.N. would force us to pay for medicine. Condoms are cheaper. Would 50 million be enough?

I support any tax cuts. We need them.

Recall, most in this country don't actually pay taxes. The rest of us are paying their way.

Overtime? WTH is that? Business owners (we're the ones who actually create jobs and get hammered on taxes) don't get paid overtime. Professionals don't get paid overtime yet many of us work way more than 40 hours a week. And pay a lot of taxes. Waiters don't create jobs.

I'm glad we're talking about tax cuts but we need massive tax reform. Not card tricks. But this is interesting nonetheless.

W2 employees don't get all the Wright offs and deductions as business owners and investors the tax codes favor.

Sure they are not creating jobs and are typically not financially well educated but our spending based economy business owners and professionals will greatly benefit from the typically spend every dime I get w2 employees dumping more money into the economy..

The business owner gets more business and happier employees making more money. Down street business get larger orders from the restaurant owner due to increased business. in turn every down street increases. This brings up gdp.

Business owners have a lot of ways to lower their tax liabilities that are not available to W2 employees. More can be done for business owners though. I really don't like having to match employees FICA deductions and state UC deductions. Especially since I am not eligible to collect unemployment compensation. Yes, I realize that is a state issue.

Also, Trump is working on eliminating entitlement programs. The left are wringing their hands and wailing so he must be doing something right.

I kind of like the idea of eliminating tax on tips, but can only imagine the ingenious ways that routine payments will shift to minimal payment for the product recieved with very generous tips for providing it to you.

Fair Tax is a national sales tax, not based on income. No tax on tips or any other form of income.

Exactly!!! Taxes are out of control in this country. Gov is not responsible with the revenue they get and if properly run gov could run on way less and more efficient.
