Shakeyjake OP trapper Joined: Jun 2022 Manitoba	The Duke 850 held while the 750s held on for a battle but lost. I think they were too deep into the snowmobile trail. These were set about 3 weeks ago, 3-5” of snow since and we’ve been travelling over them. Dukes pan and trigger were bent but otherwise no damage to the trap or anchor system. 1/4” chain, wolf shock & a 3lb drag. Pretty much straight out of the Alaskan Wolf Manual….. Didn’t really guide anything. I think the 750s were sunk in the trail too deep and are too short to reach up through the snow that had fallen over time, plus us driving over them a few times. Last year the pack would rarely venture on a trail, but they would parallel it in the deep snow for a short distance. Took em down with snares. This pack was very brave.
