Looking good Newfox! I had plans to set up a couple new locations over the weekend and those plans got a monkey wrench thrown in them by this little thing called the Flu. Started symptoms Saturday and am starting to get a little better. Did manage to pull beaver off the boards today and get them shipped off to Z&L for the baby blanket. Sent 5 of them up there, some Larges and a couple XL’s. Hoping to be back in action by this weekend and get traps back out

There are so many beaver up on the Abitibi that when you go fishing they are bumping into the boat all the time.

We don't have a whole lot here, but when you find 1 there's at least 6 seems like.

Not a beaver, but I caught this on a beaver carcass on a property that I'm beaver trapping! Lol Replaced a couple 330s with snares, I think I'm getting some avoidance, if that doesn't work I'll have to wait for open water.

Had a small male otter this morning. Skin was weird, real thin, had to be extremely careful...after 3 small holes that is. It appeared to have some bites or something on his rump as well.

Bigger otter got ahold of it.

I was wondering if they fight and carry on and such.

Been doing a little under ice cage trappin. What a pain! Don't know how you guys in colder climates deal with the ice all winter.

Very nice musty. Id rather deal with our frozen up winters than hauling live traps. You have my utmost respect trapping the numbers you do with cages. I guess we all have our conditions. Those are some super large castors

I've been land trapping for a bit but got all my carcasses used up and time to get back to beavering.

I've got some to take care of in town. They've got the outlet control structure of a pond completely plugged up. Water is 2-3 feet higher than it should be and all of the expensive wetland plants they had to plant are now dead

Got most of my beaver put up now,about 25 more to go.Got a couple more days of cold mornings in the forecast so should be good.
Had good frostscraping weather last few days so was able to get lots done.

Picked up 2 more on a lake job yesterday. These were coming into the lake from the neighbor's lake.
