Make sure your trap can fire, I missed a big yote two days ago because the wax dirt got rained on real hard and it froze real hard and all around the set right in the kill area the yote worked and he took my bait. Looks like yote or fox

Yeah, I didn't use waxed dirt for that one, but I used dry sandy dirt and they seem to always fire even with snow on it

Alaska State Troopers get paid one of the highest rates in the country due to the cost of living here.

This would be a easy trail to take coons with a foothold or dp but I’m changing it up

The set is 4 to 5 inches off the ground cause that’s what a video I watched said to put it and the loop is a little bigger then a coons head

Interesting! I wish it was legal to snare em here! Are those actually snares, or cable restraints?

Snares with a deerstop, relaxing lock, so it won’t kill them i don’t think unless they get tangled up

Ok cool, so what would be the difference between that and a cable restraint?

That will definitely be interesting if you catch one! I had never heard of the idea to snare a coon. Good luck!

Cable restraints are actually a live catch snare, Read wisconsin regs--It will let you know--what you need to know about restraints,
I have made thousands of them,
