My wife is a picky eater to say the least! When going out and she is going to try something new I order something I know she will eat. That way if she does not like what she try's we can trade. Not sure if she knows I am doing it. Must have caught on by now. Anyone else do this? That is very sweet of you. I’m sure she caught on. It just solidifies her knowing how much you love her! Shoot I am not picky at all when it comes to food. And a lot of times, I order more than I’m hungry for so that My husband can take my leftovers for work the next day. I wonder if HE has caught on??

My wife is not real picky, however she as a rule does not eat fish Wanted catfish with crawfish etouffee on it one time, had the option of fried or blackened fish. She asked which she should get and I told her that since I would most likely be the one eating it to get the blackened. She ate every bit of it

We were on our honeymoon cruise years ago and she ordered escargot, I was sure she would not eat it and I really wanted it for myself, I decided to order something different for an appetizer thinking I would get to eat hers, Turns out it backfired on me, she ate every bite.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Mine just orders the same generic in her words "basic white girl food" everywhere we go Chicken Alfredo Well done steak The tacos ( tortilla with just the meat...and has to be ground meat) Or a burger with nothing but the bun and meat... Maybe chicken tenders and sometimes I can convince her to try a drink other then slo gin and coke

But she was raised on a farm that raised beef so she is a burger snob and won't touch one at a restaurant.

I'm the picky one in the family. My wife doesn't order something she knows I'll eat if I don't like what I get. You guys now got me questioning her love for me... LOL
If I can't find something on the menu I'll like I'll order an appetizer and an order of fries and make that my meal.
The only thing my wife doesn't like is lobster. Otherwise all food is good to her.
If she makes something for dinner I won't eat I'll just make a sandwich.

I'm more open minded than I used to be when eating different things at a restaurant, my wife is fairly picky, mostly avoiding carbs so she can keep up her smokin' hot figure. She will indulge in a couple of my fries after she finishes her ahi tuna salad. I tend to eat about anything I order, but it doesn't stop me from complaining about it if it is not great.
