The last fox that I shot had just killed a baby kangaroo, that is what the last pic is

Wow! Sadly you don’t get there in time to save the baby kangaroo.

But a very nice fox it looks like!

They are pretty bad when they build up in big numbers, which they are starting to do, but the little ones are ridiculously cute so I was kinda sad to see this little one.
As far as eating goes, roo meat is very similar to venison in terms that it has almost no fat. It has a nice flavour to it and makes great steak or jerky.
The most meat on them is the back straps, tail and legs (surprise surprise grin)
The best eating ones are the young bucks as the big ones can be a bit rank some times.

When does trapping season end for yall? Fur trapping ends at the end of February for coons and fox and stuff like that but muskrats go till march 15 and then after that yall will start seeing pics of my nuisance lines and on July first (turtle opener) i will post some pics of what im running for turtles. Yall going to do anything related to trapping in the summer?

Most of the animals season ends at the end of February. So that’s my finish date. I will probably spend the summer resupplying with gear and boiling traps. Usually around the middle of October is when I set a bunch of rabbit snares so I can use them for bait.
