1. Israel decides to throw a rave on the border with Gaza.

2. Hamas responds with an elite glider attack with dudes wearing Adidas wind pants and rape, kill, and take hostage Israelis.

3. Israel responds by leveling Gaza, destroying all infrastructure roads, plumbing, electrical, schools, hospitals, etc and killing an estimated 50K Palestinians both Muslim and Christian. How many of them were Hamas, no one knows? Trump now says that their are only 1.8 million Palestinians without a home now, while prior to the October attack the population was estimated to be over 2 million.

4. Now that Israel has leveled Gaza, the United States will take over the area and rebuild it using our same tax dollars that were used to destroy it.

Is that a fair summary of the situation?

The not real nation of palestine, is a gleaming example of FAFO. Now they are whining whilst hiding behind their women and children….. no sadness here, they have been given too many warnings over the decades and can’t seem to be civil. P… on them.

The true reason President Donald Trump wants the Gaza strip for America is not for another Vegas or Atlantic City. It's my very strong, educated belief that he wants Gaza for a very large, very usable, military base that the US has complete control of in an area of the world, we need to be able to control. He is not a moron, like his detractors believe. He knows if he announced he was building a base, the whole area would be up in arms. Announcing he's building a travel destination fools his and our enemies.

The clean-up and reconstruction of the area will necessitate the building of massive, hardened runways. We will need large, very secure facilities to house our troops and other personnel working on the project. That will likely become the strongest, US foreign base in existence.

Since it will be US soil. We won't be beholden to any foreign countries, whether enemies or allies. It's a masterstroke of military genius.

I'm not understanding why 3 hostages are released in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian terrorists. Shouldn't an even trade be fair?

Maybe a more comparable playing field would be Israel should execute some Palestinian terrorists like Hamas did with some of the hostages.
