Yes the attempt to create two nations out of part of the old Ottoman empire through force has been a wonderful success story.

There are way more than two countries that previously weren't in existence born out of the destruction of the Ottoman empire.

There are 39 new countries that came out of the Ottoman Empire and 4 old countries that survived it.

Respectfully, I think you may be wrong on this. Israel wants the same thing and IMO, they want the Temple Mount back and desire to destroy the Dome of the Rock so that they can build a third temple.

They want it for their sacrifices. They do not believe that Jesus is the Messiah, and in their mind, their god who they call Hashem will only bless them and bring forth the messiah until they have a temple and offer an appropriate sacrifice.
