I just read the new business is renting a couple of chickens for eggs. I see one that rents you two hens for 500$ for the year. They give you a pen etc. and feed to get you going.

Tyson will set you up with a commercial chicken business in AR. I dont think anybody gets rich but they get paid. Can eat all the eggs you want.

I think Tyson is owned by China.

79.5% of Tyson is owned by one Chinese company. I don't think foreigners or tourist baby foreigners, should be allowed to own any major food companies in the US.

There are lots of empty chicken farms around the NW corner of Arkansas. Tyson started out buying chickens from locals but my guess is they were getting poor quality so now they select their own growers. Tyson also owns IBP I do believe. Too big to fail.

Tyson has owned IBP for a long time. Do the chinese owned tyson plants pay import tax? They butcher locally produced livestock. They have contracts with some huge beef and pork producers. May and most likely do own stock in some of the corporate operations. Controlling not only price but production. I used to haul meat for IBP back in the 80's. (not employed by them just hauling their meat) IBP was considered a good job around here. Good wages and benefits. Tyson employs a lot of illegals. Even importing some legally from places like Somalia and Asia. Not only get cheap labor but tax breaks for doing it. Had a lot of Vietnamese and Hmong families running their chicken barns.
