Been eyeballing a few single shot shotguns lately. One of the big box stores has Dickenson shotguns. Anybody know much about them? I'm looking for a 20 gauge with wood furniture and replaceable choke tubes. Thanks.

I have a batch of QUALITY made 20 gauge single shots I am going to get rid of but none have screw in chokes. We will see if $200 Winchesters sell before this new made Turkish junk.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Yea, the mossberg mavericks can be had for cheaper and are great guns. I hav a stevens (turkish made savage) .243 that shoots great. It was around 350 bucks. Kinda hit or miss on the turkish shotguns.

I had a tristar viper max 3.5" autoloader for years. Very good gun but was upwards of 900 bucks. The cheap raptor i had was junk. The tristar upland o/u was ok but the safety was real finicky.

You got me curious so I did some searching. Now I want a H and R Topper deluxe. They use mossberg/winchester choked. Even have a vent rib. Had no clue that was a thing The last one I saw sell was just over $500.

I don't think anything kicks as hard as a single shot 12 gauge, any brand.... Maybe a 20 gauge is tamer,.... maybe, I take it you never shot a 10 gauge,

Once was enough to know I don’t hate anything bad enough to pull that trigger again. Have no make of the model, but a guy brought it to camp for those “high flying snows” and I had to try it out.

They start a $100. I have no idea what you think you want one for, but for that price you can throw it in the trash if it breaks and get another one. They would be a no for me, but I like shotguns and shooting them.
