They are being cashed into someone’s account, fraud is against the law. Sounds to me like we need 24 million plus jail cells.
Folks at only 2k per check that’s 50 BILLION dollars a year scammed from us. Times 20 years is 1TRILLION dollars. Stop that fraud and social security has a much better chance at staying solvent and sustainable.

Yes there are most certainly screw ups and out right fraud. My mother lost her social security twice. Once after being discharged from the hospital. Some one goofed checked wrong box. She was reported as deceased instead of discharged. That took a while to get sorted out and reinstated. Then it happened again when my dad died that was in 2007. Mom lost her benefit again. That also took time to sort out. Not sure which party was running things when that happened?? Anyways is obvious that they have no idea what their doing. Fire the whole bunch start over. Just make sure MAGA has my befits still coming. Fire away.

Didn't Biden hires bunch of new IRS agents and arm them? Maybe he should have hired a few agents with a HS math degree and an IQ over 90.

Plus, their ancient, outdated computer system seems to.auto fill the date of birth, if unknown, to May of 18XX, whatever date the international uniform measurements etc Act was established. That's interesting because I was LOGICALLY trying to figure out how people could be older than 198 if they were say 100 in 1935 when SS was started and were put on the SS list. So, if they had turned a 100 in 1934 that would mean they were born in 1834 which would mean 200 years to 2024. But, if somehow the old machine could put in any number for the birth year of someone 100 in 1935 and never cross checked, then yeah, could get some goofy 200+ year olds (or maybe even higher) on the list.

Data is misleading.
Only paying OUT to.44,000 over 100 years old. So many of the reused/stolen SS numbers could just be paying in and can never draw. So.that could be a win.

I'd much rather the voter rolls were purged of dead folks first. Apparently most of those mistakes are from before 1972 when they switched to the electronic recording system. And compaired to the fact that we list 20K living people as dead each year these numbers aren't nearly as horrifying as they seem.

I'm just amazed that pretty much every branch of govt. has antiquated equipment Maybe by choice It's a feature of our nuclear arsenal. Apparently our nuclear launch procedures are extra safe cause nobody remembers how to program 8inch floppies anymore which makes them hack proof.
