I wonder how many of those are the actual person collecting their own SSI.
Say you're 60. You marry a 20 yr old.
You start taking your SSI at 65.
You die at 66.
You're wife/husband is entitled to collect your bennies until they die if theirs is more than yours.
Now your wife/husband lives to the ripe old age of 95.
That means it might show up as your bennies being paid out at 130+ yrs old.

How do you do that? Asking for a friend.
I have nothing clever to put here.

How do you do that? Asking for a friend. I don't know I married an older woman. I'm guessing it has something to do with having money. My wife's one coworker married a 65 yr old doctor at the ripe old age of 26.

First 160… bust your hump and acclimate a big pile of money, to being spent. Secondly, don’t get overly fond of ALL of it, only about say 50% of it. Third, walk around in public lighting your cigarettes with c-notes, prospects will find you. ( don’t leave enough burnt bill laying around for people to cash in, you’ll look frivolous ) Most importantly, see these feminine prospects as the pretty, flashy, Vegas casinos they are because odds are in their favor that they’re going to end up with all your dough. Finally, be sure you buy a decent shirt before you walk in those Casino doors. It’s about what you’ll have left when all is said and done.

As to OP, word is the acting director of SS was just appointed by Biden bunch in Jan (last month), and was standing in the doorway doing their best to keep DOGE mutts out. Seeing what was going on elsewhere, anyone dumb enough to still be doing that was just begging to be canned. Then to find what they have so far makes it even worse. That smacks of coverup.
There may be some innocent explanations for how these out of date individuals got on the rolls........and some are there, but not collecting anything. But some are going to be found out to be industrial grade fraud. And considering all the problems they are having balancing the SS books to keep it solvent, anybody defending the fraud needs to fry.
Easy to vote your way into socialism, but impossible to vote your way out of it.

Wait, you mean people don't collect social security at 150 years old? Who knew? Andy Dufresne did something similar from prison, which is where the head of the SSA ought to be going.
Go Elon Go!! New York Post about your 100 year oldsApparently the answer to both questions is No and SSA.

Actually the SS administration primarily sends out retirement benefits, and disability related payments that I am aware of. I’m sure there are more? In reality compared to so many other government agency’s with tentacles in all directions the SS should be one of the easiest to audit. Am I wrong?
