USPS is below FedX and UPS for me for good service. But I give FedX and UPS at least a dozen eggs when they drop something off. They know who I am. USPS is dropped in a box 75 yards from the house. So I do not talk to them often.

Waiting on a quill check for a week now mailed from the next state over sent express even. LOL USPO will waste $100 to not pay a $20 claim that’s their fault they take no responsibility for the service they offer.

USPS is terrible in all respects! Have had packages from south go past the city up to Min. then back to southern Wi. Then past again to "hub" 35 miles north then finally delivered. So they basically passed over twice before delivery! And as far as out for delivery I had a package that said that on a Fri. Wasn't delivered. When I called they said it didn't mean delivered today! Omg! And of course at Christmas had 4 different packages sit for a week and not move before they finally got going. And all this was not just local, its the whole broken system! Sure wish Trump could have shut it down like he tried in his first term. Useless!!! That "hub" is definitely a black hole here in Wisconsin. I've had boxes shipped Priority sit in there for a week plus. When processing through Pirateship I'll go UPS unless there's a significant difference with USPS. And if so, I notify the customer it will be awhile. Plus side is they always get there.

USPS distribution in Kansas City is a black hole. Stuff gets there and disappears. I am waiting on a scope mount. Was supposed to be here on the 7th. On the 7th it said out for delivery then changed to in transit. Several days later it showed being in Kansas City again then was in transit. Showed up in Paola KS last week then sent back to Kansas City. Today they are saying will be delivered tomorrow. That distribution center is a little over an hour drive from here. I guess 11 days late is better than never. Its a common recurring thing. UPS and FedX both dont have that problem here. Deliver right to my door. USPS does not. I have to get my USPS mail at the post office. Open 8-12.So parcels have to be picked up by wife when I am working. The lobby where the PO boxes are is open 24 hours.

I wish they just wouldn't even send out amazon packages on Sunday , there seems to be a disconnect between our Mon-Sat USPS employees and the Sunday driver for amazon packages
my son was working at the hardware store Sunday , the driver stops in to use the restroom , they know each other , were in scouts together , they talk , the guy could have handed him his package then , said he was going to be done at 1 , well he decided he was done it seems and made all the packages no access to deliver. this has been a frequent issue when the packages were being delivered out of the city , but these started here. I had complained in the past to the local USPS our post master is actually a good one and it got better but we would not even see the driver drive by in the past and then email popped up no access to deliver.
we have a barrel outside the fence because we had an issue with fed-ex drivers taunting the dogs with a package then tossing it over the fence , shredded.
I caught the runner doing it once. bounce the box on the fence get the dogs all riled up then he was about to give it a toss when I walked up behind him and said it goes in the big barrel marked packages , USPS, FED-EX, UPS packages here. he was standing next to it , large lettering.
it got so bad where my parents live they went to a mail service , next door to the grocery store about 1/2 mile from their house. the people are there 8-5 every Mon-Sat to get your package sign for them if needed. they had a PO box at the post office and their post master would get a packaged in at 9 am and if it hadn't been picked up by the time the 3pm truck was leaving he would send it back , told them if it had return shipping authorized he would do that because then USPS billed 2-3 times on the same package.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Whenever I have something mailed to me, when it hits KC distribution center it goes off the rails. I've had packages bounce back and forth between KCK and KCMO for over a week before heading South to me. If I order something from Midway it will go from Columbia MO. to STL, MO. and back through Columbia, on its way to KC, MO. to KC, KS. and usually bounce back and forth for a few days before heading South 150 miles to me.

When I get the UPS option on pirate shipping vs USPO I pay the extra costs, something UPS is already cheaper even. Some of the fake tracking results some companies use can be deceiving one day it’s in transit then days later it hasn’t even been shipped.
I can’t trust the USPO to not toss out a problem package rather than delivering it because there is no down side if they pitch the package they have a lot of excuses. If you pay for priority mail and they take a week or month to deliver it and it’s perishable they cry perishable even if it would have been fine if delivered when promised and the service you paid for. No reason to insure anything perishable it’s a waste of time and money doing so they would have you chasing your tail until you have to give up trying.
Essence goes UPS for that reason they are more responsible for their shipments and I take every precaution possible when shipping.

It is a regular recurring thing here too. We are all human and all make mistakes. What is going on in KC is either incompetence or indifference. Likely both. Not the occasional honest mistake.

I recently ordered some stuff from palmetto state armory that was "out for delivery" for three days on a row before it finally showed up. Well what's getting me is I'm getting the deal from Amazon and USPS saying it was delivered and left inside the mail box and according to my mother in law non of the neighbors have gotten anything. And the few times one of my packages found there way to them they let us know so know one of the neighbors kids stole some stuff a while back from my sister in law but apparently he moved so....also it's only stuff with my wife's name that's goin missing so ....

Have had a few people who only want to be paid via money orders get on me for no sending payment only to get the money order a week or two after or in one case guy found it along with the rest of his mail strewn down the road

Speedy Delivery (services several states in the N central US) was a good deal years ago the last time I shipped with them their added fees had about doubled their prices. You could ship a manual transmission from central SD to central MN for $25 back then.

I am a rural carrier. Years ago, this was a coveted job. Now the democrats have given so much of the working man's money away to lazy people nobody wants to work. We used to have a substitute on every route. Now we don't have but a few substitutes and nobody applies when we post the job. DEI is a real problem too. USPS is more concerned with how many minorities they can move into management positions than if they can do the job. It would be fine with me if we get privitized. The union is also a problem. Impossible to fire someone unless they get into an accident on the street.
Forgiveness is just a prayer away.

Try there online tracking or even better call there 800 phone line, all you hear is stamps, schedule a delivery, and garble. Waste of time, and energy. Filled out there form, for lost delayed, stolen, twice, never got a response 1 time. Tracking is like watching guesse fly over, when there gone, so is USPS. I have gone to UPS/FedEX, or you don't sell it to me. I called Brownells, etc., telling them until they offer those services, buying from other vendors. Before I buy now I ask who is shipper, & do they offer options. Don't mind paying extra, to get what I ordered, in a respectable time period
