Not sure how these guys are still in business, I made an order on some shooting stuff a couple months ago, I get an email they are working on it. Keep getting emails something not in stock? I only ordered 3 items. I look up the items and they seem to rotate which one is not available at this time. So I call, get it’s a ten minute wait press one for a call back, they call back 3-1/2 hours later but I miss it. Call back press one. They call back an hour later, targets are not in stock, ok can you cancel that and send the rest? Sure but then there is a $25.00 shipping fee. Ok I will wait another ten days to get free shipping.

After all this they have a phone survey and ask how likely I am to recommend their service? 0 never ever shop there again.

Anyone else have good or bad experiences with them?

because they charge 25 dollars to hit button canceling your order

I have ordered and got the stuff.
I didn't order anything not in stock and it did not ship like Midway does. it was days before they got to sending it out

midway is always my first choice , followed by brownells , optics planet I only visit if the other two don't have it.

The $25 is because I went under a dollar amount for the free shipping. I’m guessing they are $5 bundle of targets. Before it was something else out of stock. This was my first time ordering from them, of course they didn’t show out of stock when ordering.

I've ordered from them a few times, never had a problem. Probably just got lucky.

I too use Midway but Brownells is only 20 minutes from here. I went to school with and grew up 3 blocks from Pete Brownell.

I shop a lot at Scheels too, but won't order ammo from them due their polices on it.

I use them all the time for stuff I can't get from the maker due to them being out of stock, plus I get it a bit cheaper from Optics !

I do see them have a lot of stuff on back order, however I'm very pleased with working and buying from them !!

I've ordered a few times from them; it's been an "ok" experience. A harder than necessary website to trudge through & tons of backorder stuff without firm in stock dates. This is because a lot of stuff they show as out of stock is manufacturer discontinued: it won't be coming in stock.
Midway used to be my first stop,; they are #3 now for most things i order. Their price increases have moved me to check grafs & midsouth before ordering. Often i can pay for shipping and come out better than Midway, besides i hate their current web presentation. Anyone besides me long for the old Midway site with everything listed individually? Maybe its just me.

I was a manufacture rep and worked with them a lot 10+ years ago. Big part of their business model is drop shipping from the manufacture until a SKU has repetitive sales. Then they will stock it. I've bought a lot from them and never had an issue with O/P. Unfortunately manufacture follow through comes into play.

I do like their aging software and their sister site DVOR. Its a free membership site that gets around the MAPS pricing. If a stock item is in inventory too long, it gets discounted (often well below MAP). Scooped up a lot of great deals on there.

I prefer midway, but I've ordered a few things from them. They first said the flip up sights I ordered were on backorder for 10-12 weeks, so I emailed them to remove them from the order, and before they responded my whole order showed up. I was confused, but not upset
