850 doesn't have a dead spot in the pan either. Early season you can get away with using the 750, but for everything else the 850 beats it. Neither are close to what the NO BS traps are though.

850 hands down. Jawspread and power to come up through the crust. Plus the fact that the 750 is the worst wolf sized trap I have dealt with for freezing down. The 750 does bed really nice, and isn't a bad dry ground trap, I'll continue to use the ones I've got during the early season and they will be the first trap I grab to set in an area I am worried about trap thieves. But I won't buy any more as long as 850s are available at the same price point.

That's where I'm at with it. Actually up here I can buy Duke 850's in the grocery store for $35.99 each, MB 750's they charge $47 for.
