X2 I'll add some 220's to my trap collection. All bodygrippers are just copies of conibears with a few modifications, same for tube type DP's are all copies of the Lil Griz.

Curious what the perceived need for the super mag is? Completely closing jaws (feet and tail caught critters still there when u get there.) Belisle type safeties (much safer than the floppy safeties.) Spring eyes cannot go over jaw corners (some otters will escape a 330 if that happens.) All the Traits of a Good 330

Nice traps! Looks like a good setter would come in handy for those bad boys! What do you recommend? I hear the RTS setters are the best!

I have 2 RTS setters, one for a spare. Not as fast as a scissors type setter but anyone can set a 330 using one. Highly recommended. Glad you like them!

Are the RTS setters made the same as the orange setters? I just looked at the ad and they appear to be black. I HAD an orange setter that looks similar. I really liked it but the metal was junk and it broke while setting a BMI 330 a couple weeks ago. If the RTS setter is heavy duty metal I would buy one but if it is made out of the same metal I'm not interested in throwing away my money again. I had to go back to the scissor types which are difficult to use with a torn rotator cuff.

It’s built from a much heavier frame and better gear ratio as well as other features that none of the knock offs had. It also hooks on spring arms rather than eyes so less strokes to compress springs. You can click MTP at the top of the page and look it over. If you do buy one, from anywhere, my # and email is right on the setter. If you have any trouble, just get ahold of me direct and I’ll take care of it but I’m sure you’ll love it.

That is the kind of customer service that made me choose RTS when I was looking for a great gambrel to accompany the skinning machines I use to sell. You'll be happy with the setters Computer Hater. Accept no imitations, get the original RTS brand.
