The biologist's report that came out as a result of this study was that coyotes ate bark in the winter and not deer. Of course the fact that these snared coyotes chewed up a lot of brush when captured meant nothing.

And the gut piles, frogs, but their favorite seems to be house cat. You can even catch one on your fish stake once in a while.

52Carl trapper 5 Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 8,313 Virginia	There was a single coyote on an Island which was trapping, a 30# female. She killed 3 adult does in the 2 months while I was out there. I caught her by 2 toes in a snare with a camlock on it. A camlock, when pulled tight, leaves a small gap which allowed blood to continue to flow to the toes which is why she didn't get away. Coyotes attack the deer's rear from the rear repeatedly until the deer bleeds out.

Nope I did some quick internet searching and didnt come up with any published articles from a state wildlife agency or bilogists proclaimimg that coyotes dont kill deer. Can we see the articles or published works that you are talking bout...?
