The Republican party knew they couldnt control Micheals as he was a Trump kinda guy, They were actually more comfortable with evers. The party never lifted a finger to help after their darling Kliefish got beat in the primaries.

In Wisconsin if you want to beat the democrats who own the cities, and college towns, you better turn out the vote as happened at the presidential election last November. and it was still close. Our little township had we have 202 voters that could vote, we had 20 new voters show up and register and vote in November. You Wisconsin folks better pay attention to your supreme court election coming up April 1st. It could get way worse for you and the nation if it goes the wrong way...
