I'm a poor sight stumbling around in knee deep water and mud trying to complete my beaver job commitments.

My knees are just about a no-go. Therapy starts next week...just so BC&BS will approve an MRI...then endoscopic messing around the meniscus in both knees sometime in April.

I could stay at home and not be in as much pain. And I'm about to that point.

But, I'm a mess trying to walk out with a beaver or otter...lol

Bad knees aren't fun. Good goin Swamp.

I'm probably gonna face plant in the mud and water b4 I get this done.

I just hope the tater rake prongs are turned down when I do....

Good luck, before my new knees I could barely get to the mail box and back, walking in the water or uneven ground wasn't even a possibility.

Therapy will not fix a torn meniscus. Hope ya get it taken care of.

Yeah...doc said that too. But my insurance wont approve the MRI without me being able to show I've been thru therapy.

I don't know why this is.....when my doc need the MRI images to proceed.

And folks are surprised when somebody shoots an insurance exec.

Insurance company hoping the therapy will work on the cheap.

Doc says he can "clean out" around the meniscus.

Said my knee joints were good for a 60 year old. Says knee replacement is not needed.

Take it easy there. It is almost Turkey time.

Swamp when mine acted up their “synopsis” was a piece of cartilage had broken off and gotten lodged in the joint and when they drained my knee it moved. So that means more than likely it’ll be back at some point. Just hope it’s not when I’m out of State on one of my excursions.

Hear some story over and over on insurance scam. I know when i hurt my back a few years ago i discovered how much i bend over, duck under tree limbs, etc, etc, etc. Not fun when your hurting every step of the way. Nothing harder on joints than trying to walk around in a swamp!

Yeah Jackie....I'm making it worse by trapping beavers. It's took me years to build my reputation and client list. That's only reason I'm putting myself thru this.

That might be my problem too. Diagnosed with gout a couple weeks ago, but I thought gout came and went. This has been going on over a year (pain never stops) and has only gotten worse. A week or 2 it's the left knee real bad...then the right is worse. If both hit at same time...I'm down for the count.

I was supposed to get the procedure 2 years ago. I decided not to because it was my right knee and would not be able to drive for a week plus…..

Took it easy for a month and it got better,,, still flares up every now and then , but not to bad….

Stay after them Swamp, it is a blessing to be able to get out and trap
