The Freedom Brand Stake Puller and Dobbin’s Trapping Hammer make it easy.

Looks like there’s still some fox around.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Looking like a big boy like you could just bend over and pull those 12" rod stakes by hand. smile or the grand daughter probably could also.

Maybe ten years ago.

They're 18" stakes, doubled up since the coyotes showed up. I used to use the groundhog tool in the pic, ground that U in the claw end just for that purpose. Then I decided to work smarter instead of harder. grin

This usually is the granddaughter's job but she's in school today.

The ground was still froze solid on some of the sets them so I left them until it thaws. She can have her turn then. grin

I went to wolf fang cable just cut and go it saves my back a lot that way. Pulling rerod and playing tug of war with a badger are back killers. Several places when I go to set the next year I find the cut ends sticking out of the dirt.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Me too, except for beaver slide rods, then I use stakes
