Thanks Mttrapperguy!

Looks like quite a few more cats for day 2 and prices held up or improved slightly.

I wonder how many were out of state cats on the sale?

About 500 Nevada cats, the rest out of state.

I assume that the out-of-state cats would tend to bring down averages?

all the western states produce quality cats, so why should non-Nevada bring down the average?
Now mix in a bunch of central/southern and yes, whole different story.

Some of the best cats in the US come out of NV, if not the best. Sections of NV produce a blue heavy back with a white belly, spot that look like they are burned through. Anything is going to drag that down. Even quality cats.

I believe I had 62 southwestern cats that were just on the the Sunday Sale. That was about 10% of Sundays sale. They were generally good cats also. Some below the average and some very high above. Just like Nevada cats.

Interesting stuff Jim. Thanks for chiming in.
Slick, if I could average half of what the Fallon sale avg was I’d be on cloud nine!

Looks as if skunks did better than everything but cats. Now, how do you keep fox and coyotes out of your skunk traps.
