My hand might have to get amputated got a pretty bad infection doc says if it doesn’t get better on antibiotics within a day I have to go to the ER
Luckily it’s my left hand so I could still write but if it does get cut off no more trapping or hunting.

They need to give you IV antibiotics. Once I had a bad dog bite and they put me on measley amoxicillin and 800 mg ibuprofen and two days later I had purulent discharge coming out the bite and red streaks up my arm. I had to beg for decent pain control. They save that all for the reliefers

Soak it in hot water and Epsom salt at least twice a day . The Doctor may not tell you that, but what does he make on that?

I had a VERY bad situation years back, the Mayo Dean of Medicine said we’ve got to get you to the U of M asap. I said but your the Mayo?
He said where do you think we learned? The U saved me.

Find some Tea Tree oil. It pulls the infection out of the wound. I have had to use several times myself.
