My hand might have to get amputated got a pretty bad infection doc says if it doesn’t get better on antibiotics within a day I have to go to the ER
Luckily it’s my left hand so I could still write but if it does get cut off no more trapping or hunting.

They need to give you IV antibiotics. Once I had a bad dog bite and they put me on measley amoxicillin and 800 mg ibuprofen and two days later I had purulent discharge coming out the bite and red streaks up my arm. I had to beg for decent pain control. They save that all for the reliefers

Soak it in hot water and Epsom salt at least twice a day . The Doctor may not tell you that, but what does he make on that?

I’d be running my rear to the Mayo or better yet university of Minnesota medical in the cities.

I had a VERY bad situation years back, the Mayo Dean of Medicine said we’ve got to get you to the U of M asap. I said but your the Mayo?
He said where do you think we learned? The U saved me.

If they can’t save your hand from that, your doctor must be in the dark ages! Find a new one!!

Find some Tea Tree oil. It pulls the infection out of the wound. I have had to use several times myself.

I have no clue I get cuts so often I can never remember what each one is from it could be anything I work with my hands every day
