Same thing that happened to Vitas Gerulaitis, the tennis player, many years ago. In his case it was due to a malfunctioning gas heater for a pool that leaked CO into the friends guest house where he was staying. Only one of 3 dogs died. One other in the house, one outside. Front door was open but no sign of forced entry. Evidence of mummification so would seem they were dead for a while before being found. Investigation in progress.
