If a wolf is in a cattle pasture it needs killing. If its illegal why would you tell anybody? Leave it lay and claim ignorance. Let the eagles and hawks clean it up.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

The cattle are my responsibility, the state is responsible for their wolves. I'll do what I have to and the state can do the same.

The wolf has been in SE MN. for some time some trappers have caught one. Was a time there were none along with the wolf we now have bear bobcat and fisher down here no doubt enough bears that they can breed in some places. they are migrating to the south, sightings will become more common.

Yes but what few get chipped or collared are too few to really matter.

Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

In wolf country, if you got a wolf or wolves in the pasture and you haven’t lost any livestock to them, killing it or them isn’t a good idea. Leave ‘em be. If there’s coyotes around, that wolf is probably just a loner passing through, looking for a place to set up shop, maybe find a friend.
