I know the sale is sealed bid. How do they handle the “bid reading”.? Post it? Read out load? Give each seller a slip with their bids on it? Multiple ways to do “bid reading”. Each sale is a bit different. They hand you your paperwork pretty much the same as OTC. You tell their office people what to do with lots that didn't make your minimum.

The thing is, the past couple years, they've separated the cats out in groups; South Western, Central, Western and even Eastern and Western Oregon cats. Then they list the average for each group. It gives a better gauge of a true average. Most certainly the Western Cats will be the highest. Also the Nephi sale had 40 or 50 cats that came in over a $1000

I'm wondering where they displayed all that fur. The main hall at Genn's Ferry is not very big.

I would have thought wissmiss would have been at this sale.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Is the cat marked going to decline? It all ready has. The demand for alley and barn cat has slowed due to inactivity. The Chinese are consuming much more pork.

If it was an OTC sale, results would have been available last evening, once the last lot had been shagged. Maybe watch the OTC sale post, wait there isn't one. Be patient grass hopper.

Did OTC have over 8000 lots? Give them some time I think this was one of the largest sales in the country No, OTC did not have over 8000 lots! But neither did ITA!!! Yes, there were lot numbers in the 8000 but that is because they have different sections, just like OTC Raw fur gets one group of lot numbers. So does grease fur. So do antlers. So does tanned fur. This sale even bobcats got their own section of lot numbers. I don’t think you can comprehend how many lots 8000 would be. If each lot took up 12 inches, 8000 lots would be well over a mile of lots. There weren’t that many lots at GF.

I know you all have been waiting. Annie is currently in the Netherlands and got these to me. Couple notes, the "eastern" bobcat average is high because we put the Texas bobcats in that category. With 7 Texas cats going over a grand we should have put them in the SW category. Sorry it didn't transfer great from excel. Its 1 AM and still working through pile of fur not picked up.
