No, OTC did not have over 8000 lots!

But neither did ITA!!! Yes, there were lot numbers in the 8000 but that is because they have different sections, just like OTC

Raw fur gets one group of lot numbers. So does grease fur. So do antlers. So does tanned fur.

This sale even bobcats got their own section of lot numbers.

I don’t think you can comprehend how many lots 8000 would be. If each lot took up 12 inches, 8000 lots would be well over a mile of lots. There weren’t that many lots at GF.

Yes they had different lot numbers for each different animal
But each trapper had different numbers in each lot
Me for instance had 10 Cat's in 6 lots
When I walked through all the tables there were alot of
single lots, double lots and so on so when you total all those
there are alot of lots just for Cat's
I had 3 lots of beaver 2 lots of muskrat 5 lots of coyotes
2 lots of castor 1 lot of otter and my 6 lots of cats so that
totals 19 lots and that is just me

I think for cats you're allowed to lot each one separately.

They used to say no more than 3 cat lots per trapper, they are more flexible than that, but discourage individual lots. We had twelve cats in six lots this year.

I know you all have been waiting. Annie is currently in the Netherlands and got these to me. Couple notes, the "eastern" bobcat average is high because we put the Texas bobcats in that category. With 7 Texas cats going over a grand we should have put them in the SW category. Sorry it didn't transfer great from excel. Its 1 AM and still working through pile of fur not picked up.

Eastern reds averaged $20.03, not bad in today's market.

Eh...wot?
