Took wife into St Louis for a date and some shopping. I always try to hit up the gun shops while she is at the mall.

Found these on the shelf marked $14.98. Offered $12.50/box and bought all 8 boxes. I have used a lot of this exact ammo over the years.

The new ammo with the tungsten shot and flight control wads are nice, but I guarantee these will still do the job at 40 yards or a bit more.

Yep that's good stuff at a good price. I am kind of partial to 4 shot also.

was always a fan of winchesters 3"double XX magnums in#6 for turkey took a few out at 50yds only shot federal premium turkey loads out of the 20 gauge if anyone doubts the difference copper plated lead makes over regular lead the copper is barely ever deformed and holds a tighter pattern at longer ranges

Those 2 3/4" are a good late season pheasant load as well.
