Beach 1992 edition of the 1927 original Derrydale volume. 288 pages of excellent Alaska writing and Alaska outdoor history covering the William Beach Expeditions of the 1920s. Here is an Alaskan lifestyle long vanished. Details of early days around and on Mount McKinley, wildlife including grizzlies, wolves, caribou, moose, and more. Native people and sourdoughs from the States, old trails, roadhouses, and more old time Alaska. Illustrated throughout with vintage photos. Book is in very good to excellent condition.
