Sorry to ask this but I have been out of the loop and was just curious No change at this time. With a regime change things may be different.

Sportsman's Alliance is very proactive and working hard to protect all hunting fishing and trapping. I encourage you to check them out if you're not a member and are unaware of their good work.
United we stand.

Sorry to ask this but I have been out of the loop and was just curious No change at this time. With a regime change things may be different. Sad thing is that they will only run candidates from the inner circle of “leaders” who are, in my view, severely corrupt and compromised. No transparency. So the change in the regime will be minimal. Some people may have forgotten how the “good ol boys” network kicked into gear a couple years ago and covered for each other and expelled several Tman members from their organization, but myself and many others have not. I will not be going to any more NTA conventions (to watch them hand out awards to each other for all of the great things they have done) or otherwise support them. The PA state convention is just as big and will be good enough for me. Sportsmen’s Alliance is great and the FTA also.

Sad thing is that they will surely run candidates from the inner circle of “leaders” who are, in my view, severely corrupt and compromised. No transparency. As one of those aforementioned expelled members... for the most part I agree with you. "They" will absolutely only run people from the inner circle. Most times, at least the election for President has one contender that will challenge the status quo. IF that happens, pay attention... listen.... because that person might be someone that it's worth coughing up the membership fee to vote for. However, at this point, I doubt that anyone will even bother to run against whoever the status quo nominates. Why would they? To be treated like the last person who dared to throw their hat into the ring, expecting a fair election, was treated? To be threatened with lawsuits from the association's lawyer for writing a campaign ad? To be drawn up on ethics charges and expelled from the association after giving everything he had to pull off not one, but two, successful national conventions in the recent past? And all because he dared to run against the person nominated by the inner circle? Who in their right mind would allow themselves to be nominated to endure all that for a unpaid position? Sadly, the NTA has become a mirror image of the U.S. government. Board members who have served for longer than Nancy Pelosi, and like her, have become accustomed to having their vacations being paid for by the members (taxpayers). Officers that run roughshod with no care whatsoever for what the people funding the organization want. Officers who cost members (hundreds of?) thousands of dollars defending lawsuits that they themselves brought upon the association. Maybe the members of tman need to form their own DOGE to root out all the corruption in the NTA, LOL.
Just give me one thing, that I can hold on to. To believe in this livin' is just a hard way to go.

Nice to see things summed up without it being me for a change. Lack of interest i imagine is why no one is running for anything in their election's, they got what they wanted, no opposition in board meetings, full and total control of everything. Just a game of tag your it now as far as elections go.
Not my circus, not my clowns.
