My stance is pretty simple. If a business wants to adjust its hours have at it. Often when I was ironworking in the summer the boss would ask the crews if they would like to start an hour early to avoid more of the heat. We always said yes and started at daylight.

No reason for the government to dictate it.

The fall time change doesn’t seem as difficult as springing forward. Sure would be nice to not have to mess with the time change nonsense. There is no value in it and why do we continue to do this?

Change it or don't change it. I don't care. But the whole political debate on daylight savings seems like a waste of time. We have more important concerns.

I hate checking sets in the dark. I feel I miss critters that way. Coming in before sunrise or right before it has to spook those critters hunting/moving right before sunrise. Time was just starting to get better and now it’s back to dark checks!

Something comes to mind about cutting a foot off the top of a blanket and sewing it to the bottom to make a longer blanket

Doesn’t make me do anything different. I don’t farm, but I’m in AZ.

Move it half way and leave it, there's no reason to be moving the time twice a year.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

If it stops do we stay on the savings time all the time, or go back to normal time this fall and then stay there? My dad and I were discussing it today, he says he thinks we stay with summer savings time year round if it changes.

I personally don't care. But should choose one or the other.

United we stand.

I’d prefer standard time but would split the difference between that and DST as a compromise. Wouldn’t want to be on DST year-round.

Eh...wot?
