A photo that symbolizes Trapping History. Legends captured in one picture. Who knew then what good those two would do for the preservation of trapping. That picture should be enlarged, preserved and framed, then hung where trappers who drink from the well can thank two of the men who helped dig it as deep as it is today. We give thanks to your Dad and thanks to you Paul. How proud he should be of how he is remembered and the good you continue to do.

Your father's last paragraph in the story explains why trapping continues to rule above all my other outdoor pursuits: That's what I like about trapping. You can never tell when the unexpected thrill will await you.

Wicked! I just started reading his open water beaver/otter book. Excellent book so far! In the beginning he mentioned plans to write an under ice one, did he ever get it finished?
