Just cause you had some bad experiences and couldn’t handle a good trip, doesn’t mean all mushrooms are bad!!!

I had some GOOD mushrooms the summer of 1998. It was at the BOR cabin on Deadwood reservoir in Idaho. What a night!

You sound like my wife. She feels the same way. I did find several morels in my woods last year and she fried them in butter. They were quite good, I have to admit.

I made this post because wolfdog cooked up some meatloaf and a lot of people were posting about the different ways they made it but no one did it like this so sharing. If you get it right stuffed meatloaf is really good. The mushrooms I had a few left over so I added them to the gravy but hey cook it anyway you want. I am surprised at all the outdoor types that do not like mushrooms.

So someone asked about how this was made. I make meatloaf a couple different ways but it's pretty basic. Hamburger(1&1/2 lbs.),bead crumbs, salt, pepper, diced fresh onion and and one egg. Mix it together by hand and then I form it so it can be rolled. Layer deli ham and swiss cheese slices, then roll it up and bake till its done.
